Library of Congress hosts Cooper’s Hawk January 25, 2011

A trapped Cooper’s Hawk is causing a stir in the main reading room of the Library of Congress in Washington, DC.  Apparently it got in via some broken windows, and authorities are trying to trap it humanely with cages and bait.   Matt Raymond, LC blogger, is keeping readers updated on the Library of Congress blog.   As of today it is still resisting capture.  Let’s hope Cooper is back on the mall dive-bombing the Rock Pigeons again soon.
