1. Go to the library’s website.  Use the library catalog to identify one book on your topic.  Write down the author, title, and call number.  (If you choose an e-book, there won’t be a call number.)

2. What do you need to bring to the library when you want to check out a library book?

3. Click on “Online sources A – Z” and select Academic OneFile.   Use that database to locate a listing for a journal article about your topic.  Write down the article’s author, title, the journal title, volume, date and pages.

4. Bonus question:  Why would you use library databases such as Academic OneFile, JSTOR, or PsycInfo to find articles for a college assignment instead of using an internet search engine such as Google?
