Why stop at one discussion group or one city or when you can get the whole world reading and discussing one book? Tomorrow, May 5, is the kickoff for the worldwide “One Book, One Twitter” event. Neil Gaiman’s American Gods is the chosen read. The novel follows Shadow, an ex-convict, and his boss Wednesday on a road trip across the United States, exposing and analyzing American myth, obsessions, spirit, and culture. This article in the Guardian explains the event and how you can join this worldwide book club: http://www.guardian.co.uk/books/2010/may/04/one-book-one-twitter-book-club?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter
Now you know how to occupy your time when exams are over!
