Book eHarmony- find your perfect match! September 11, 2009

These new books are on the shelf just crying out for someone to take them home and love them.  Read their Book eHarmony profiles here and check out these lonely books- your own true love may be here. 

The Discovery of King Arthur by Geoffrey Ashe- divorced blue book, about 2,000 years old, good with a sword, seeking available maiden to be new Queen of England- as long as she stays away from that cad Lancelot.  Must be good equestrienne and excel at potions.

The Heart of Addiction by Lance Dodes- slim white book with addictive personality seeking available single alcoholics, gamblers or shopaholics for study.  Meet me at the Roadhouse Casino.   Don’t fall off the wagon.

Warhol:  the Biography by Victor Bockris- large maroon book, loves art, fashion, movies, music; seeking reader with open mind and interest in same.  BYO soup cans.

Antarctica:  Secrets of the Southern Continent by David McGonigal- Oversize bluish book with love of penguins, whales, snow, and ice.  Hoping for a cool companion who won’t melt me.  Greenhouse gases need not apply.

In the Shadow of the Master:  Classic Tales by Edgar Allan Poe– hardcover red book with eerie illustration; interested in ravens, bells, morgues, and other very scary things.  Seeking girl named Annabel Lee, dead or alive.

Beyond Borders:  Thinking Critically about Global Issues by Paula Rothenberg- multicolor book, many maps, keen on international civil and human rights, global ecology, health, poverty, and other PC issues; seeking  students with minds needing expanding.  Yes, there is a world outside of East Tennessee.
