Election party November 3, 2008

Posted by mplibrary in Uncategorized.

TWC is having an Election Day Party tomorrow night. Starting at 8 PM, students, faculty and staff are welcome in Glenn Lowe Dining Room to watch the election results unfold. Drop in any time between 8:00 and midnight. You can even get convo credit for attending.

If you still need more info before voting, here are some links that might help.

The League of Women Voters has an election guide and information on the candidates’ positions on issues, and how the election works (PDF). There is even a polling place guide if you are unsure where to go to vote.

Vote Smart lists the issue positions and voting records for national and state candidates.

Rock the Vote also has lots of info, and will even show you a map from your home to your polling place.

So who will win? Come to Sherman Hall and watch history happen! One thing is for sure: you’ll be much more popular at the party if you’re wearing your “I Voted” sticker.
