Welcome to new and returning TWC students and staff!  Your TWC librarians send out this occasional email with news about books, databases, research tips, exhibits, and warped humor from library land you won’t want to miss.  Be sure to set your email program to allow mail from Marsha Zaleta (Student Life) and twcnet.edu.

New Databases this year:  Read about these from previous blog posts: LexisNexis Academic and BioOne

Put an end to library fines!  Did you know that you can check your own library account, find out when your books are due, and even renew most of them online?  Click on Check Library Account from the library website and enter your last name and your 13 digit barcode number.  Once logged in to “My Millennium” you can even save your “preferred” catalog searches.

Quotation of the Week:  “Censorship reflects a society’s lack of confidence in itself.  It is the hallmark of an authoritarian regime.”  U.S. Supreme Court Justice Potter Stewart
