Spring break is coming up!  Last year, we asked you to name your top 10 books you’d take to a deserted island.  This year, list the 5 albums you’d be sure to have on your MP3 player while stranded on a tropical island.  Click on “add a comment” or “# comments so far” to share your picks.  We can dream, can’t we?hawksnestjan08.jpg

My best friend just gave me “A Hundred Miles or More” by Allison Krauss so I will definitely be listening to that! I’ll probably also listen to some U2, Lifehouse, and Snow Patrol, and maybe a good (free!) book from Librivox.org

Good choices. I’ve been listening to Allison Kraus and Robert Plant’s “Raising Sand”, also the new Sheryl Crow “Detours”. Over the break I’ll probably listen to Levon Helm “Dirt Farmer”, Nick Drake “Five Leaves Left”, and The Wailing Jennys’ “Firecracker”, and some Richard Thompson no doubt. I’ve ordered Ollabelle, Chris Smither, Jethro Tull, and Donovan so I hope they come in soon.

Dave Mathews Band: Live At The Gorge
Running With Scissors Movie Soundtrack
Bone Thugs in Harmony: Greatest Hits
Ravi Shankar: Greatest Hits
The Postal Service (self titled)
