Things are going along great here at the library. People are getting things they need from great resources like Project Muse and Academic OneFile, hanging out in the café, and using the wireless. But that happens all the time and would make a pretty boring update, so here’s some other stuff.
Commuter students need to go to the Student Services office to pick up information about the new campus-wide alert system. This is especially important for commuters, since it can save you all that driving if you don’t need to be here. Once you have your information, it takes about a minute to log in and set up your info, and then you’re done.
Starting soon, the Durham computer lab will be open from 7 a.m. to midnight. No more excuses about getting that paper written!
Finally, don’t forget that the library has laptops you can check out and use anywhere in the building. We know the computers get full, but that doesn’t mean you have to wait around to do your work. All you need is your TWC ID card and the laptop is yours for two hours.
